Grupo FORTES leads its costumers in direction to the Knowledge Management.

Grupo FORTES was founded in June/1998 to support the Knowledge Management of Datasul S/A., a Brazilian multinational business management software development company - www.datasul.com.br.

In 2005, the company transferred its headquarters to MIDIVILLE, technological basis incubator of the SENAI system, aiming at its organizational development and business expansion.

The FORTES Group uses New Technologies of Information and Communication for the creation, management and publication of contents about products, services and business processes. It basically actuates as a facilitator (Knowledge broker) of the codification process for the internally produced knowledge.

Although some collaborators may understand that one of their responsibilities in the organization is to codify (write) part of the Intellectual Capital (most of them don’t even think about this!), it is very easy that this responsibility ends up in second plan while they are busy with their daily tasks. The knowledge codification of the organizations is a process that demands discipline and needs to be facilitated to guarantee that only relevant, accurate and updated information is taken to the collaborators.

The FORTES Group has expertise to:

  • Select the best technologies of information and communication for authorship and management of each organization’s content.
  • Increase the speed and the quality of knowledge coded internally.
  • Improve the sharing and reutilization of the contents for multiple publications.

The FORTES Group promotes:

  • The retention of the intellectual capital of the organizations.
  • The reduction of technical assistance and training costs.
  • The reduction of costs for new collaborators introduction in the business.
  • Differentials of commercialization because of the quality of its product documentation.

The FORTES Group works with projects of authorship and management of authorship of contents aimed at the elaboration of:

  • Trainings, distance education (e-learning).
  • User Manuals (help on-line).
  • Reference Manuals, guides and tutorials.
  • Knowledge certification tests.
  • Process documentation and operational procedures.
